fortunately, the owner of my local vhs rental shop needed someone to write movie reviews and he happened to be good at math. it was a match made in heaven — or in my case, in post-communist poland. i was reviewing film after film and getting a little better at math in return. and then came the day. it was my time to watch star wars for the first time. obviously i loved the movie, but i was even more obsessed with how the film was made. the green screen and post-production magic literally changed my life. after graduating, i worked at postproduction studios orka and lunapark, and spent eight years working my way to become a vfx supervisor and an art director. with a firm grasp of vfx, i began directing with platige image in 2013. so, i guess being grounded for flunking at math wasn’t the worst thing that happened to me after all. i took it upon myself to combine my painting and graphic design background to tell stories that make a difference. pushing the envelope a little further with every project. taking bold moves paid off. i had the pleasure of creating for bmw, huawei, ikea, samsung, microsoft, hbo, mcdonald's, mtv, orange, red bull, virgin mobile, castrol and many more.
